Windscreen repair is a term used to describe a process that involves the injection, curing and polishing using a specially formulated resin. To repair the damage, a windscreen repair technician will inject an optically matched acrylic resin into the damaged area of the windscreen. The resin replaces the air trapped within the damaged area and is then cured, creating a molecular bond that restores the structural integrity of the glass and stops the damage from spreading.
Once cured, the resin is levelled to the surface of the glass and polished to a glass like finish. Our technicians will repair the damage so that the repair will be virtually invisible to the naked eye and not detectable when you run your finger over it.
